本日（2025年10月7日）、本校（樹徳中学校・樹徳高等学校）は、マレーシアの Catholic High School, Petaling Jaya と姉妹校提携に関する覚書（LOI）の調印式をオンライン（Zoom）にて挙行しました。両校の校長、英語科主任、生徒代表が出席し、今後の交流に向けた力強い一歩を踏み出しました。

【背景とねらい——「心の教育」を軸に、世界とつながる】
樹徳は創立111年の歴史をもち、仏教精神に根ざした「心の教育」を基盤に、探求型学び・理数教育・グローバル教育を柱として教育活動を展開しています。今回の姉妹校提携は、日本語・英語の会話プラットフォームの共同運営、オンライン／対面の相互交流（1〜2週間の短期交換を含む）、異文化理解と国際協働の実践機会の拡大を目的とし、生徒一人ひとりが言語運用力と多文化共生の姿勢を伸ばすことを目指します。

Today, October 7, 2025, Jutoku Junior & Senior High School held an online signing ceremony (Zoom) with Catholic High School, Petaling Jaya (CHSPJ), Malaysia, for the Letter of Intent (LOI) to establish a Sister School partnership. Principals of both schools, ALTs, and student representatives attended, marking a significant step toward deeper collaboration.

[Background and Purpose—Connecting the World with “Education of the Heart”]
Founded 111 years ago, Jutoku is a Buddhist-based private school that centers its mission on “Education of the Heart,” alongside inquiry-based learning, STEM education, and global education. Through this partnership, our schools will co-run a Japanese–English conversation platform, expand online and in-person exchanges (including 1–2 week programs), and create authentic opportunities for cross-cultural understanding and global cooperation. The aim is to help each student develop language proficiency and a mindset for living and learning together in a multicultural world.
